AI and Christianity: In the World, but not Of It

 


If I had been born 50 or 60 years later, I suspect that I would have spent much of my career and life as an "AI Rebel." The more I am drawn to AI, the more I believe I should resist it. Such a condition I consider to be much like a Christian's call to resist Worldliness. In fact, whatever else it might turn out to be, one thing I am certain of is that AI is "worldliness on steroids." In Man's fallen state, how could it be other?

And yet, God has called His people to live in that world, no more or less than christians have always lived in and through other worldly social, economic, political and technological epochs. We are to be "in the world," but not "of it."

One of the Christian mottoes has always been "BEWARE." So goes it with AI. See less

The ACLU has declared Victory for What? Demailwatch March 25, 2026-2

THE ACLU OF TEXAS has declared Victory because a majority of school districts in Texas voted against state-sponsored prayer periods in public classrooms. The Prairie Home Journalist takes the same "Sphere Sovereignty" position as some Reformed Christian churches, but would argue that the state already has established religion by banning religion from the class room.  But that obvious reality aside, the ACLU believes people should send them money for little more reason than the ACLU considers it a "Victory" that most schools voted to not establish prayer-periods. SB 11 has not been fully litigated in the courts, but that's okay, the ACLU is willing to take your money for...doing what?
